Ron Weasley

Ronald Bilius "Ron" Weasley is a fictional character in the Harry Potter book series written by J. K. Rowling. He is one of the central characters in the books. His first appearance was in the first book of the series, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (1997) as the best friend of the protagonist Harry Potter and Hermione Granger. He is a member of the Weasley family, a pure blood family, who reside in "The Burrow" outside Ottery St. Catchpole. Along with Harry and Hermione, he is a member of the Gryffindor house. Ron is present in most of the action throughout the series due to his friendship with Harry. In the films, he is portrayed by Rupert Grint. Hair care company Brylcreem released a list of the best and worst male hairstyles of the celebrity world in 2007 putting Rupert Grint's haircut with the Top 5 Best Male Film Star haircuts.

Ron Harper

Ronald Harper (born January 20, 1964 in Dayton, Ohio) is a retired American professional basketball player whose career spanned from 1986 to 2001 with four teams in the NBA. At 6 ft 6 in (1.98 m), his position was shooting guard/point guard. In 2005, Harper signed as an assistant coach for the Detroit Pistons. On November 1, 1997, Ron Harper appeared on the ninth episode of the second season of the Nickelodeon sitcom, Kenan & Kel in the episode titled "Foul Bull."

Ron Jeremy

Ronald Jeremy Hyatt (born March 12, 1953), usually called Ron Jeremy, is an American pornographic actor. Nicknamed "The Hedgehog", he was ranked by AVN at number one in their "100 Top Porn Stars of All Time" list. Jeremy has also appeared in non-pornographic films, such as Boondock Saints and Studio 54. Ronald Lee Wyden (born May 3, 1949) is an American politician from Oregon and a member of the Democratic Party. He won a seat in the United States House of Representatives in 1980, and served there until 1996, when he became a U.S. Senator.

Ron Washington

Ronald Washington (born April 29, 1952, in New Orleans, Louisiana) is the manager of the American League's Texas Rangers. He is also a former infielder in Major League Baseball, and prior to managing the Rangers, Washington coached in the New York Mets and Oakland Athletics organizations.

Ron Paul

Ronald Ernest Paul, M.D. (born August 20, 1935) is an American physician and Republican Congressman for the state of Texas, who gained widespread attention during his unsuccessful bid for the 2008 Republican Party presidential nomination. During the campaign he attracted an enthusiastic following, which made use of the Internet and social networkingto establish a grassroots campaign despite lack of traditional organization or media attention. He is the founder of the advocacy group Campaign for Liberty. Paul is a member of the Liberty Caucus of Republican congressmen which aims to limit the size and scope of the federal government, and serves on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, the Joint Economic Committee, and the Committee on Financial Services, where he has been an outspoken critic of American foreign and monetary policy. He was one of the first congressmen to support Ronald Reagan's 1976 presidential campaign and endorsed Reagan again for President in 1980 and was himself the presidential nominee of the Libertarian Party in 1988. His ideas have been expressed in numerous published articles and books, including The Revolution: A Manifesto (2008).

Ron Darling

Ronald Maurice Darling (born August 19, 1960) is an American former right-handed starting pitcher in Major League Baseball who played for the New York Mets, Oakland Athletics and Montreal Expos. Darling currently works as a color commentator for national baseball coverage on TBS as well as for the Mets on both SNY and WPIX, where he has won Emmy's for best sports analyst. During his 13-year career, Darling amassed a 136–116 won-loss record including 1,590 strikeouts and a 3.87 ERA. He threw 13 shutouts in his career and was selected to the 1985 All-Star team. Darling's weak point was control as he finished in the top four in base on balls three times in his career. He was considered one of the better fielding pitchers of the time, winning a Gold Glove Award in 1989. Darling was known to have one of the best pickoff moves among right-handers. An above-average overall athlete, he was sometimes used as a pinch runner. In 1989, he hit home runs in two consecutive starts.
